This is the first posting – seems appropriate that it coincides with Valentines Day.

The perfect tea would be Dilmah’s Rose with French Vanilla. This variety also has a

significance for me personally as it was the variety I used to prepare my final

practical exam for my Dilmah Tea Master Certificate.

I really wanted to tell the story of how one type of tea could be used in different ways

– so I provided three different inspirations.

First,

Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla is the perfect accompaniment for that Valentines

Day Breakfast – French Toast with Berries and just a touch of cream cheese and a

pot of tea.

Second,

Try incorporating a Dilmah Rose with French Vanilla into a simple sugar syrup and

then mix the sugar syrup with additional berries and pour over the dessert.

Third,

Using the tea infusion as a mixer with gin – experiment according to your tastes –

sometimes you need another mixer as well – for example a pink tonic, or proseco or similar bubble – I used a rose and cucumber mixer or pour over frozen strawberries or raspberries or even pomegranate.
